Koruhama Kahuhu Alphons

Founder & CEO

Koruhama is the visionary behind RondaRideShare, a homegrown digital mobility platform transforming ride-hailing, long-distance travel, freight, and parcel delivery in Namibia. With a Master’s degree in Computer Science and strong experience in software development, platform architecture, and transport systems, he leads Ronda’s strategic direction and innovation roadmap.

He previously served as a Software Developer at the City of Windhoek, where he contributed to key municipal systems, and later as a Consultant and Project Coordinator at NUST, supporting digital research, community innovation, and indigenous knowledge archiving.

A recognised advocate for culturally grounded technology, Koruhama designs solutions that are locally relevant, socially inclusive, and aligned with Namibian identity. The name “Ronda”—an Otjiherero word meaning “climb”—reflects his commitment to decolonising tech and rooting modern mobility in community language, values, and lived experiences. His founder portrait, taken in traditional attire, further embodies this belief: innovation can be modern without abandoning culture.

Koruhama has built multiple enterprise systems, mobility platforms, and community-focused applications, blending advanced engineering with practical, real-world mobility needs. He is also known for leading hackathons, mentoring youth, and coordinating collaborations across government, private sector, and grassroots communities.

He brings together technical excellence, cultural intelligence, and social-impact leadership—driving RondaRideShare as an authentic, trusted, and transformative mobility service for Namibia and beyond.
